My device is not charging

Listed below are a few troubleshooting tips if your device is not charging.

1. Confirm the battery percentage.

To check the battery percentage on the device, select the orange menu icon in the top right. At the bottom of the drop-down menu, you’ll see the battery percentage. (If the device is connected to the charger it should display “Charging”)

2. Make sure your device has been connected to the charger for enough time.

Devices need to charge for a minimum of 6-7 hours to achieve a full battery life. We recommend charging your device overnight, each night. (Review this article for best charging practices)

3. Restart the device.

It could be possible that the charging percentage did not update if the battery was critically low before plugging in the charger. Turn the device off and back on to reflect the most recent percentage.

4. Make sure you‘re using the correct charger.

We recommend charging the device with the original Lingraphica charger. Using a foreign charger could potentially damage the device battery and/or not give the battery an adequate charge. (Review this article for identifying a Lingraphica charger)

5. Check the charger port.

The piece of the charger that connects to the device should have a tight fit into the charger port. If the charger connection feels loose or needs to be held in place in order to charge, the charger port is most likely damaged and will need to return to repair.

6. Try a different outlet.

We recommended that you test the charger with a different outlet, just to confirm whether there is an issue with the device/charger.
